A full back piece can be an expensive and time consuming commitment.
Expect several hours in the chair, particularly for extremely detailed
wings. If you love the look of angel wings, but don't want a full back
piece, the lower back makes a better placement for small wings. Small
wings sprouting from the natural point of the shoulder blades can
actually look dwarfed or out of place, as if the wings have shrunk. The
same sized wings on the lower back are much more to scale and won't look
so out of place.
